Well you guys down south will definitely have some cold air to work with... middle of the afternoon here was 20/1 at like 2pm with full sunshine.  That's impressive for the valley here.  Mountain has hovered in the single digits above 3,000ft all day with wind chills of -15F to -25F.  Brrrr.

Ice storm looks likely in CT after a half foot of snow.

Yup a rare March icestorm. Prepping for outages statewide. I'm hoping media hits hard tonight

Snow into most of CT by evening commute tomorrow

I think that's a bit quick...maybe far SW CT. NAM is that fast, but I think its too fast. Euro prob has the better idea keeping the precip advance slower...esp with the low dews. There will be some virga.

watches now up  :snowing:

Hopefully this watch turns out better for us than the last four.  At least the airmass is better...

12/9/09 we had like 4.5" on the valley floor with sludge on top and that's pretty much my thought as of now.  18z Nam looks great and might be the best case scenario for us...

Evening commute has the potential to be ugly down here...
