Easy 3 in the highest elevations.....a bit less around 1500ft. Accidents everywhere including interstates. My skiers had one of their best days of the year at JF.

Of topic slightly, but how long do you envision JF staying open this season? ....especially given the potential for relatively decent weather (for skiing, that is) through the end of March? Based on past experience, all of the Poconos resorts tend to call it quits no later than the first weekend in April no matter how much base they have left and no matter what weather might be in the forecast. In recent years, that has been a necessity due to warm spring weather, but there have been plenty of seasons (well, occasional seasons) where the available base and the weather would have allowed them to keep chugging into mid-April if they so desired.

JF was closing after this weekend but announced it will not. I know a lot of people who work there and run the place and will get the skinny and let you know. My hunch is maybe a week or two. I know they have to not just take into consideration the conditions but if they can make money or not. My hunch is BB stays open but JF maybe one more weekend. I was not there today but my kids said it was empty.

Yeah, it always seemed like, in this part of the world, people's minds moved on to other things by the time April 1 rolled around, even if the conditions are still decent on the slopes.  Of course, if 99.9% of their potential clients are busy in their gardens or on the golf course (or dreaming about those things), it is pretty darn difficult to get enough people to make the drive up there so they can cover their nut.

Warrington, PA.   32.1 degrees,  winds E at 10.   50% sleet (someone tell Rob/Rib)/50% snow.   0.3" of variegated frozen material on the ground.

We just arrived home from Lancaster after a terrifying trip on the Turnpike from Morgantown to Valley Forge.   Cars flipped over, spun-out, a 5 car accident just east of Downingtown.    What a mess!   Salt trucks were just getting out.  Caught everyone by surprise.

EDIT... After Valley Forge, it was just wet. .At home we are 5 mi North of the PA turnpike (E/W, I-76).   As we worked our way north, there was very little evidence of snow right at the turnpike.  EACH MILE NORTH, there was a steady increase of frozen precip and accumulation.   Interesting to watch unfold.  Could have done without the white-knuckle turnpike drive though.

Even PHL has mainly reported rain today. Just north of there is the transition.

I was @ te driving range on city line ave between upper Darby/lower Marion/Philly border and majority of it was sleet/snow earlier.. Now sleet/rain.

Just looked outside (although I didn't want to) and there is about an inch to an inch and a hlaf on the grass in the backyard. I don't feel like making it official and measuring it though. I'm in a "boycott snow" kind of a mood today. Especially after seeing that most of Virginia enjoying 60 degree temps.
