KingofQueens
Had heavy snow at times here and moderate snow most of the time. No accumulation whatsoever. I actually went to flushing an hour ago and there was no accumulation there either. But on the way back on the 7 train I noticed that whatever is between my area and Flushing had snow on grass and cars.
SR Airglow
Down to light snow now, looks like moderate might come back later. No accumulation, but I don't consider it wasted at all, it was beautiful outside for an hour or so, nice to go out and take it in. -skisheep
ag3
Light precip now and the snow is already mostly melted here in Queens. About .50" before melting.

Personally it just irritates me when I get no accumulation with moderate to heavy snow. This would have been a nice event had it been at night. Too bad the timing was off. So important to get snow at night this time of year.
jm1220
No accumulation here on the South Shore. Temp well above freezing, still afternoon and varying rates from moderate to flurries just won't do it.
TWCCraig
This is what happened last week with the 7th and 8th storm. We got barely anything on the south shore because it was too warm and the precip rates were light. Same story today, just with heavier precip rates, but barely any accumulation. Pitmaster
Light to moderate snow here in Monroe- Orange County. About a half inch on the grass. Temp down to 30 now.
Absolute Humidity
Snowing lightly now with a full inch on all grassy's but there's some 30DBZ's incoming. If this keeps up and coats the streets and adds another inch, I may have to re evaluate this winters final grade.
winterwx21
Heavy, heavy snow right now. HUGE flakes. But it can't accumulate. If only it was night.

winterwx21
It tries to dust the grass slightly when it comes down heavily. Now that it's light again, the very slight dusting is gone.
FreeRain
Moderate snow. Snow finally sticking on grass. Has been sticking on evergreens for a couple of hours.

RutgersWx92
Had really heavy snow here with HUGE flakes a little while ago, now back to light. Really looked beautiful out there. Have a dusting on the grass and some trees from that band but every time I've gotten that in the past it melts when the snow lightens up. I'm always amazed at how well Monmouth county manages to do with every event. They're like the snow magnet of NJ.

RU848789
The 1/4" from early afternoon melted quickly after the snow let up, but it just went to moderate/heavy snow about 10 minutes ago - very similar to what we had earlier - and everything is whitening up again (except paved surfaces). I'll still take a day of melting snowfall over most other days - it's been really pretty to watch from our big bay window, while I make a playlist for a friend's party tonight... Absolute Humidity
1.3" here. Snow has let up. This is most likely my final accuse for today. Was a very cool surprise. Now at 37.1" for the season.
