Had heavy snow at times here and moderate snow most of the time.  No accumulation whatsoever. I actually went to flushing an hour ago and there was no accumulation there either.  But on the way back on the 7 train I noticed that whatever is between my area and Flushing had snow on grass and cars.

Down to light snow now, looks like moderate might come back later. No accumulation, but I don't consider it wasted at all, it was beautiful outside for an hour or so, nice to go out and take it in.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. Personally it just irritates me when I get no accumulation with moderate to heavy snow. This would have been a nice event had it been at night. Too bad the timing was off. So important to get snow at night this time of year.

Had really heavy snow here with HUGE flakes a little while ago, now back to light.  Really looked beautiful out there.  Have a dusting on the grass and some trees from that band but every time I've gotten that in the past it melts when the snow lightens up.

I'm always amazed at how well Monmouth county manages to do with every event.  They're like the snow magnet of NJ.

The 1/4" from early afternoon melted quickly after the snow let up, but it just went to moderate/heavy snow about 10 minutes ago - very similar to what we had earlier - and everything is whitening up again (except paved surfaces).  I'll still take a day of melting snowfall over most other days - it's been really pretty to watch from our big bay window, while I make a playlist for a friend's party tonight...
