Wet snow north of the city. Surface freezing line cutting through Rockland County. Hour 96 we all flip over to cold heavy rain.

IsentropicLift
Over 1.25" of QPF for the area. More than 90% of that falling in the form of a mixed bag or rain. Might end as a brief period of wet snow or flurries as it moves out. Wouldn't count on it though.
MJO812
Over 1.25" of QPF for the area. More than 90% of that falling in the form of a mixed bag or rain. Mostly rain over here. Maybe some mixing inland. 850's are good for the start of the event. Don't know what the surface temps are.

IsentropicLift
Mostly rain over here. Maybe some mixing inland. 850's are good for the start of the event. Don't know what the surface temps are. North and west of the city it's possible for a 1-2" front end thump, especially north into northern Weschester and Rockland. From the city on south it's 99% rain. The 850 freezing line lags a hair behind the surface. Strong WAA events aren't very good for accumulating snows in this area.
