18z NOGAPs goes absolutely nuts with that system later next week...  D7.5 has a 970mb low near ALB, but it's so dynamic and cold that the 0C, 850 isotherm only gets as far west as BED.  But it has a sub 516dm 500mb surface after the Equinox!!!

95F in San Antonio today.  We went to Mass at a genuine 245 year old church yesterday, built as part of a 293 year old mission.  San Jose y San Miguel de Aguayo mission is now part of an active Catholic parish, and still has Franciscan priests.

Only 89F in Houston today.  I hear rumors of snow up there.

...Record Snowfall For The State Of Ct...

The intense snowfall that occurred on February 8-9, 2013 produced
accumulations in excess of 2 feet across much of CT. At Ansonia, an
official NWS coop observer recorded 36.0 inches during the Standard
24 hour observing period. This breaks the previously established
greatest daily snowfall record for CT of 28.0 inches.

The record set at Ansonia is currently unofficial. A state climate
extremes committee has been established to analyze and certify the
data. Should the committee agree on the validity of the data... the
36.0 inches which fell at Ansonia will be certified as official data
and become the new state daily snowfall record for CT.
