powderfreak
New ECM looks good. We like lows in the Gulf of ME with sort of inverted trough to the dying primary across NNE into NY state.

Logan11
It would be a shame to waste all this cold air. 22 when I left the house around 12:20 PM. Clipper is way south now on all models now I guess. That was a Euro loss because it had a number of runs with that clipper further north. Wow, Euro is much colder...makes the transfer quicker and keeps SNE a lot snowier...pike northward might actually stay all snow this run. Some taint gets into CT/RI but there's front end thumpage before that. 2M temps are really cold though at 120h...so taint would be of the frozen variety away from the south coast. ORH_wxman
Me likey. Yeah that was a cold run for that storm...It has even the coastline at BOS and south shore in the 20s when the precip comes in.

Typhoon Tip
Interesting Euro run - wraps all mid level centers way west, but because the antecedent atmosphere is so cold, it still manages a foot of snow for interior zones.
ORH_wxman
How big a hit was it? Looked like a 6-10 type deal north of the pike...more once you get up into Maine. Prob 3-6 south of the pike and then pellets/ZR away from the coast.

ORH_wxman
Actually SWCT and WCT get hit hard too Well they are already tainting by 120h there, so to me it looked like a quick 4 or 5 inches and then pellets...but its bound to change.

The Euro snow clown maps will be interesting, seems to dump pretty hard at 2-3 per rates before they flip. Anyways great run and a great trend, have to think the colder side seems the way to go with that airmass.
