gymengineer
It's going to be low in the western horizon around sunset. What would be a good spot, away from trees, buildings, and city lights to catch the comet? Apparently, it (and its tail) should be visible without binoculars
asdfk
DC light pollution is pretty awful...I've found that you have to get about as far west as Harper's Ferry before it makes any meaningful difference.
CAPE
Pitch black over here where I am. But i am tucked back in the woods so I have to walk out to the end of my driveway to get a clear view.(too lazy). On another note, I understand you may be able to view Saturn if you look towards the northeast.
