EastCoast NPZ
Yeah, add another day of March snow in the air here. That would be day #10 according to WinterWxLvr I believe.

EastCoast NPZ
Interesting clouds and sky today... Kinda looks like the arrival of the space ships in "Independence Day." Minus the fire and all.
snowfan
Nice calm morning. Looks like we will string together a decent run of highs in the 50s to near 60.
mdhokie
Too bad Whitetail is closed with all this snow: Maybe we should rent some dump trucks and bring it down our way.
mattie g
Windy. Without it, it'd be a nice day.

Some of the New England resorts (especially northern NE) will push 70 inches for the month. I imagine the slopes will be packed this upcoming Easter weekend. I imagine the slopes will be packed this upcoming Easter weekend. Timberline has $1 skiing on Easter Sunday, and they have 3 feet of snow in the trees. I can't imagine ever wanting to go to Whitetail. Then again, from my house, Timberline is only about 45 minutes farther away.
mattskiva
And speaking of snow... 38F here with -SN as I write this. Temp dropped from 44 degrees an hour ago. Not sticking to anything but still a surprise.
EastCoast NPZ
Snow showers here again today. That would be day #11 on the month. 41F with NW wind gusting to 31 mph. Not a pleasant day.

caviman2201
Just saw an epic... graupel storm... it was graupel mixed with snow in Bowie, MD. Very weird as its 46 degrees outside... it was REALLY coming down for a few seconds though. Pretty awesome...

WEATHER53
This March has a good shot of being the 5th coldest, possibly colder, since the epic March 1960.
Deck Pic
This March has a good shot of being the 5th coldest, possibly colder, since the epic March 1960. It has been delightful....plenty of time for 90s with 70 degree dew points....we have generally been mostly in a warm pattern from April 20th to October 20th or so...I don't think a -2 to -3 March after a mild winter is going to kill anyone.. Bob Chill
I was out in shorts all afternoon. Yea, had to wear a sweatshirt but still. If you can't enjoy outdoor time with these seasonal temps then maybe you should just pull up your sissy fruity pantz, put on a fuzzy sweater, and sip some wine you can't pronounce while eating foot cheeze in a french restaurant somewhere. mattskiva
Just wait until the 90/65 whining begins. I'm already whining in anticipation. I will start officially whining once the dewpoint exceeds 60 regardless of the temperature. I'd take today over any day in July or August.
