I'm up on top of Knower Rd. Not far from Minot. My son is gearing up now. We're heading out for an hr or two. Nice having the season pass. I'll take pics.

I know Minot. We have friends on the Hubbard Westminster border and we sometimes go from their house to Westminster. Beautiful area. I am near Rietta Ranch (sort of)

Enjoy

8.25 inches of fresh snow on the ground in Pelham, NH (in the Merrimack valley).  There was probably some considerable compaction of the early storm snowfall becuase I had 3-4 inches before I went to sleep.

The snow was falling at a good clip when I left home for work, I'd estimate roughly 1"/hr.

One thing I noticed about this storm is that the flakes have that ellusive sound dampening quality!  Take a walk around at lunch or during the evening and you should notice its earily quiet.

Just a little update from your NYC metro brethren...just strolled through Central Park and closing in on 4 in. Looks beautiful out there. Positive bust for all it seems. Not a foot plus like you have but basically everyone in our sub forum has over performed. Great storm. Congrats guys you really got nailed

Well, it turns out that I have a snowhole in my backyard. Just took a walk around the neighborhood, and even in my front yard as opposed to my backyard, I have much higher totals. In the blizzard, this wasn't a factor due to the wind most likely. (I have several large trees in the back, and they probably steal some of the snow) My front yard has 8" on the grass and 6" on the pavement, just a beautiful, winter wonderland. took a few measurements on my block and the higher totals are correct, seems that the trees want their snow as well!

Pictures, I'm not much of a photographer, but it looks like january out there!

Too bad the winds were not a tad higher.  What could potentially have verified a blizzard as a blizzard with one more hourly and a touch more wind.  LOL.

GUYS it is Literally like the Storm KNOWS The RI Boarder!  Yesterday it would come in from the ocean and Stop on a N/S line before entering RI, then Last night, it would re-develop once CT started, but Still didn't push into RI.  NOW you look and it's creating a Tripod Over RI, and the echos NE of me just STOP over me, and the echos North of me Scut around Burrillville and go into NE CT.

This.  Is.  Un - Real.

(This map is only part 3, and I'm lucky as i'm doing better than Anyone in RI)
