cut
Surge levels are 3'+ at Chatham right now. the multiple tide cycles will make this even very bad wrt erosion and coastal flooding. My parents live in Orleans, my Mom said the damage even in the town cove is pretty bad this year. The bayside beaches in Eastham have gotten hammered. There is a cottage that I used to frequent that had a backyard (front yard for beach front property) that was 50+ feet, now the property is condemned and hanging over the bluff. Shurtleff Beach I think.
