sfenn1117
Wow, thought I must be crazy when I eyeballed 10" cleaning off my car in Manchester, but the 8" at 2 am on the obs report confirms it. Downtown Hartford has 4" if that

Mr Torchey
gfs was horrific, look how far west and south accumulating snow is falling, too low on qpf, hideous. Is high tide in Eastern Mass another flooder this morning? Taking a beating up there
Brian5671
Must have really dumped overnight! I'm surprised given how there was nothing late last night....schools closed again-kids in school til Jun 27th now locally...
butterfish55
Must be 14" out there, but I haven't been out yet. BOX office is about 3 miles to my east and they reported 12.5 an hour and a half ago, so..... Americanwx FTW BOS/PVD on air mets FTL (except Harvey, I guess). The radar seems broken because it hasn't changed in about 24 hours.
MarkO
Went to bed last night with about 3-4"otg. Maybe an inch on streets, but woke to a pleasant over performer.Eye balling about10" and a foot is within striking range. Full frontal.

Sey-Mour Snow
WOW drove down to Bridegeport to drop off the wife at work. Everyone well over 6" on the way there. At or over 9" here with plenty more to come, by the time this is done we might come close to 90" around the area, making it the second snowiest winter ever here (96')! RIcoastalWX
Hey... that radar looks vaguely familiar... RI dry slotting... again!! Snow much lighter here in the past 5 minutes as we get ready to do what we do best in this storm and dryslot... wonder if it'll be a sunny today as it was yesterday... Grass still poking through in a few places but I believe it's because of the wind... On average... 2 inches here.

dan11295
Surge levels are 3'+ at Chatham right now. the multiple tide cycles will make this even very bad wrt erosion and coastal flooding.

In fairness to Harv it's rough to go on the air balls to the walls when your competition is forecasting april showers and forecast a foot. Even he probably thought he was missing something. This looked like a major snowstorm all along. The only thing that truly surprised me is it tucked NW a bit. IE, I will have to wait to see the final accums but i95 got what I thought, rte 24 too. I got more here than I thought but just NW may be a little lighter. Ray and Will in general are about where they should be if you consider the qpf maps. Jerry too. The only places that lost out were on the water. Oh and RI, the dry hole there was epic. Tolland makes me laugh Kevin asked me what I thought and I told him I didn't know enough about his climo to say. Wow did those bands just sit. probably the one thing honestly...I thought the banding would be more targeted. This really spread the wealth too. Great storm guys enjoy.
