joey2002
Of all the screw jobs in SNE, I I think I have just bolted myself into the Top 5. I have D-2" all over my yard while Attleboro had 6" 4 hours ago. North Attleboro 6.5" 1.5 hours ago. Tell the boards I'm about to do it exactly the opposite of what Mike Ekster did those couple of years ago .............. but the opposite. Go to Attlehole. I now live in Crumberland. I really feel bad for you guys in Rhode Island... seems like it's just been one dry-slot after another.
SR Airglow
SN/SN+, not sure if it's quarter mile vis, but it's ripping right now. 32 degrees, probably closing in on 1.5 on grassy surfaces, coating on pavement but accumulating fast. -skisheep
Sugarloaf1989
I think that Taunton NWS should issue a WSW for Tolland, at least for the northern part, as we've seen 5-6" of snow in the last 5 hours and it's pouring down right now.

Agreed, I think Tolland and Windham counties need to be under a warning right now. Upton sounded like they were wavering on a warning for westchester county down here, but they are sticking with the WWA, which I think is going to bust low for westchester, some parts are at 4" already. -skisheep

Yeah, how much snow did you get this morning, and how much so far tonight? It's really been snowing nicely (~1"/hour) since 7pm or so...
Whineminster
We're getting dumped on pretty good. Yeah we're going to have some pretty impressive totals here if this holds up all night, hubbdave will have a great AM at wawa
Ed Lizard
Isn't precip vs clear air mode automatic? WTF? No, actually. SRAIN might remember it on a KHOU-TV 11 forum thread, where I went to hotlink radar, and had to send an e-mail to HGX (and they replied) to get mode switched. Makes sense, when you consider they have to manual set the mode for tropical rainfall accumulations, which is underestimated in normal mode. SlantStickers Anonymous
Snowing moderately, still gusty. Up to 6" on the deck, less on the roads but it's sticking. Unfortunately I didn't get a call yet regarding class cancellations so I'm probably going to end up asleep before the heaviest stuff moved in. Back down to 33.1 which is a recent change so it's getting colder. I'd be happy with a few inches of snow. I'd be happier if I was up around Rte 24 right now. There could be some really large totals up there by morning.
tavwtby
Yeah slow start here too. I'm hoping things pick up as the 500 mb s/w zips south of us later tonight and tomorrow morning. Agree.. Moderate to heavy for a bit before just enough to cover pavement, bout a half inch, but grass has close to three inches of perfect stacked aggregates, still meh event at the moment
