Pouring big flakes in Gardner for a while now. Starting to lighten up now. No real good place to measure but looks to be at least 6" out there now. It's nights like this I love the drive home from Fitchburg. The extra couple hundred feet of elevation really makes a difference.

GFS is still weird in CT, after the RGEM went up, the GFS is now the dry outlier by a significant margin here. inclined to toss it, it hasn't had a clue the entire storm.

Well, some parts of CT have been relatively dry, maybe the GFS was onto that? Take any model verbatim, and you're gonna be wrong a lot of the time.

Step away from the GFS. Look at state and then regional and then local radar.

Radar looks cool. Some sort of convergence happening over the north shore. Fast moving high db band coming west to catch the slower stuff.

Wow is is hauling azz.

Greenfield Chris should be ok now. MPM is cryng for his shawl from somewhere in Iowa

Yeah, snow just started here after a long dry spell.  Cooled just below thirty so nice dry snow falling atm.. Third coating of the day but pavement covered now just need to rip a little harder.  The heavier echoes moving in from the NE is right on my doorstep.

Talked to friends in Colrain @ 800' and they only have 1.5" on the day so I would imagine MPM house isn't much different.  Now that it's finally snowing and sticking here we need to make up some ground. lol

Snow is coming straight down with light gusts but I can hear the wind howling up above.

That part by the old Digital/Simplex building is sweet...  Roads passable?

I just walked the dog and snow is ramping up and in the quiet streets we're up to 5-6 inches.  I'm thinking a foot is possible given the guidance from the wee hours through mid morning and the cold temps modeled all the way to the surface by every piece of guidance.

Roads were OK around 7. Haven't been out in a little while but haven't heard any plows either. That long straightaway on 2 is nice. It's like driving into another world sometimes.

It does look as though the band rotating in quickly from east to west, is sort of diminishing the sucker hole.

Just had twenty minutes or so of the best snow yet today. Close to an inch as it came through. Should be to you soon. About 3.75" here at 29f

Didn't check radar first, looked a lot different now than it did before I went outside to check it out. Looks like it already went well past you as well

I can't believe I was melting down and got 21.5"   What an azzclown

We both melted down and ended up with more than 20...thankfully I'm much more ambivalent towards this storm otherwise I'm sure I'd have swallowed a gun by now.

Uncle's full on now.  Uncle and GFS flopped around until game time.  NAM was being NAM.  Euro figured it out inside of d4 and smacked everyone else around.  CMC too did a great job it seems.

Well, as bad as the GFS became, it did seem to be firstat bringing it up here... then it got scared and shat itself
