CTWeatherFreak
33.0/32 here in West Hartford. Big aggregates but visibility no lower than 1 1/2 SM or so. Yea. Its weird seeing that strong looking band over us on radar, and having it be so meh at the surface.
Sey-Mour Snow
On radar, this band over us looks alot like the monster band that setup during the Feb blizzard, and that was some of the heaviest snow Ive ever seen.... Ive got to believe its this 32.8 degree reading thats spoiling the party. yes, too borderline, hopefully heavier rates turn it even colder later. real show isn't til after 1am according to models.. subdude
nice moderate snows. I cleared off a section of my picnic table after 5.5" at 7pm. Just measured 3.5" in that section bringing my total to 9" currently 29.
DomNH
very odd though.. from time to time the snow really lightens up/guess because its so borderline. flakes are nice and big.. and it is accumulating very fast.. if this gets really heavy its going to pile up.. weird its wet obviously because of borderline temps but almost fluffy the way it piles up.. Noticed that here. It's very fluffy so it's piling up even though it's hardly been snowing, but it still seems to have a fairly high water content. Kinda cool. Just melting on the roads, though. SR Airglow
yes, too borderline, hopefully heavier rates turn it even colder later. real show isn't til after 1am according to models.. Temps are killing us down here, steady, moderate snow, and it's nothing accumulating except from the grass, where it's a 1/2 inch at best despite the fact that it's been moderate for an hour and half now. Do you think it cools down enough for us to go below freezing and start to accumulate? current temp is 33.3 -skisheep

I was feeling a little sick about that for a time yesterday admittedly, but had faith in the firehose/fujiwara....they always seem to to find a way if we are getting hosed from the east.
