DavisStraight
Nothing happening here. I don't get how people to the east west north and south of me can be in on this, while I sit here sucking overcast. Same here, Im stuck in the same snowhole you are. Baroclinic Zone
I won't be shocked if someone ends up with 18" there in that weenie elevated region near Foxboro. Yeah, that area we all pegged as the "sweet spot". Still hoping to see 8-10" by tomorrow with whatever comes overnight.
Zeus
Zeus, I think I live not too far from you (about 1/2 mile from jamaica pond near stony) and we've got a healthy snow cover close to 3" on grassy areas .. check the pic from the stony brook station. Well, hello neighbor; I live just north of Jamaica Pond toward the Brookline Hills T stop on the D (south of Rt. 9 tho). Anyhow... got a link to that view? Snowciopath
A flake or two every minute. Sigh. Yep, this dry slot has been driving me nuts all day lol. At least we have a steady light snow here in Ashford now, so things will only get better from here.
weathafella
I just dropped my wife and daughter off at BOS. Ironically it was snowing harder there than anywhere and starting to plaster to the roads. When I emerged out of the tunnel, heavier snow in town and at home with accums. I heard mark Rosenthal on NPR and he's calling 6-12 for the Boston area. Based on temps and radar..not a bad forecast. Nam keeps getting colder so I'm getting pretty confident on a great overnight dump!
Snow Bow
31.8 now and coating trees, car top and driveway with about .25" on the colder surfaces
Cold Miser
A flake or two every minute. Sigh. A flurry (or 2) every 30 mins or so. Can't wait till it gets dark and I can go searching for flurries with a flashlight. It will be just like looking for fireflies as a kid.
wxmanmitch
Definitely coming down at a moderate intensity right now and beginning to accumulate to all surfaces as nice little band backs in from the east. Hopefully I can get a nice storm out of this.

Difficult to trust temps and not a lot of great model consensus in a pretty tight time frame. Felt like big bust potential, so expectations had to be kept low. Now that it looks like it will do just what the Euro said it might do snow-wise for the last two days, it has the feel of a potential overachiever.
