Mix of rain and snow in central Bergen county...maybe trending to more snow. Seems the R/S snow is amost due north to south from about SI to C Essex county to central Bergen...easst of that snow, west outside of elevation rain?

Heading home now from work in Harborside Jersey City, 0 snow here. Word back home is it is snowing but not coming remotely close to sticking. Upton says rates until 6pm could be up to an inch per hour guarantee imby it will all be wasted with 0 accumulation.

5:50 PM Steady light snow continues here like it has very nearly continuously all day.  The inch of snow that we accumulated this morning completely melted except for small ribbons along some "shady" borders.  We actually got our 1.0" of snow from 0.09" liquid.  Between 11AM and 5PM we accumulated another 0.03" melted snow in the rain gage for a storm total of 0.12" liquid.

The temperature has now dipped a hair under 33 and we now have a new coating on the lawn.

Its a far cry from a month ago, but tonight might actually get interesting.
