NJwinter23
I'd say a bit less than that, I can't see trump parc from my house in hubbard heights(3/4 mile). Think we get into the heavier stuff as it continues to move west? RAP still has it getting heavy here until late afternoon. -skisheep I mean, it's lightened up even from that little burst a few mins ago...this is abrely light snow and probably not accumulating in the daytime...tough to say since were so close to the heaviwer stuff to the east, but my guess is that were just about done in stamford in terms of adding onto the snow total, maybe another inch or so. Temp is
RutgersWx92
About 5 inches here with moderate snow. Roads have remained just wet but it's covering everything else and looks beautiful. Looks like a nice training band coming up from NE NJ. Very nice overperformer here, have to give some props to the NAM.

Temp is 34 It's not accumulating here. So close, same thing happened in the blizzard, I got 19", 10 miles east 35"... I think we'll know in 1/2 hour if it's going to continue to accumulate, all depends on if the heavy stuff to the east can move in. 33.8 here. -skisheep

MikeS
We have to have close to 7-8" in Wayne. I'm at work in Florham Park right now, but when I left this morning I had just over 5" at 7:30AM and it's been under some of the heavier echos in the area all morning
jm1220
It continues to change.. The NYC area is hugely underdone on that map given the reports of 6"+ already.

cold&cloudy
Haven't measured, but I would guess we have at least 6 inches in Vernon. NWS calling for up to a foot in the higher elevations. Excellent storm.
SnoSki14
It's still going strong, oh and it's during peak heating on March 8, if its cold enough and it comes down even moderately then the sun angle does not matter even into early April.
Stormlover74
The NYC area is hugely underdone on that map given the reports of 6"+ already. Yeah even EWR and I'm sure all of eastern Union are over the 4" mark by now
SR Airglow
That map is going to bust, already at 9.5" here, almost over the 8-10", and if the heavy band can work in that will go up, it looks to expand a bit further west on radar upstream, so maybe in a little while. -skisheep

jm1220
That band is really trying. If it gets to western LI/NYC I'm sure it will start to stick again. Light snow/flurries here in Midtown.
Blizzardo
Prolly 8 here in Bloomfield and still ripping. This band isn't moving ! Or it is VERY slow...
KingofQueens
Definitely at least 4 in Queens, maybe 5 (eyeballing). That is how much is on my garage roof, where the snow always accumulates first and melts last. Snow on paved surfaces is melting and accumulating at the same time.
