Just woke up - woohoo!  5" baby!  Amazing looking out there!  Even have an inch of snow on paved surfaces.  Major forecast bust, lol.  And still snowing decently.  Gotta go to work...

Wife just called to say we got an additional 1.5" since I left for work, bringing us up to 6.5" in Metuchen. Holy ****e!  Talk about way overperforming - this is the kind of forecast bust I love, lol.  And it ended up being more widespread than I thought, with areas to the W and S of us doing at least pretty well (lots of reports of 3-5" in Warren/Somerset/Monmouth etc.).

They have a better chance than the hudson valley, especially east brooklyn...it could easily collapse a bit and head south though...looks like stamford will get it so im happy..

Yeah it shouldn't be too long now, probably 20-30 minutes or so? Have numerous reports from friends and the new england forum that it's 2" per hour stuff.
