WxUSAF
Love it Wes. Someone's going to be very pleasantly surprised tomorrow I think.
mattie g
Great article, Wes. I learned quite a bit just by reading that - from the dynamics behind it to how it's depicted on a sounding.

ORH_wxman
LOL Wes used "ripping" twice That was my favorite part of the article. Its a very descriptive adjective that really should be reserved for true heavy snowfall. Great article and explanation with the soundings. Looking for this type of stuff is always one of the more exciting aspects of dynamic systems.
Fozz
I was wondering if the thundersnow would be anything like Jan 26, 2011. In fact winterymix and I briefly discussed on facebook. If so, and if there's double digit snowfall up my way, this may become one of my favorite non HECS.
CoastalWx
Nice article and 850-500 fields also imply a reduced layer of stability pointing toward the DC metro area.
Bob Chill
I currently like Wes more than the skins Dallas season finale.

mattie g
Yeah, they got it pretty good with the 850 low so close and the dynamics kicking ass. Still hoping we can get something going here in that regard.
