GordoFabulous
We have now transitioned to snow in MIE. It looks like there's still a little rain mixing in, but not much. The muddy areas are already starting to turn white.

mimillman
Walking along Lake Shore Drive and Museum of Science and Industry. Heaviest rates and wind of the day. Plows are doing well keeping up with the major roadways but everything else is out for the count. Passed a few fender benders on my walk. Probably 4-5" on the ground with plenty to come. Hallelujah is all I can say.

tuanis
Just took the dog out again and it's like a different storm out there. The wind has picked up resulting in a good amount of blowing. Flake size has increased. It's a real snow blitz out there! This event keeps getting more and more impressive as it goes along. A well-defined trowal snowstom beats the pants off WAA snow any day of the week in my book. Plus, radar still looks solid! I'd guess somewhere around 5" out there now. hawkeye_wx
Finished with 4.6 inches here from 0.36" liquid. It was heavy, but it just moved out too quickly. Nearly all the models were too wet for us, some way too wet. Still, it was the best-looking snowfall of the season as it fell with little wind.
