Walking along Lake Shore Drive and Museum of Science and Industry. Heaviest rates and wind of the day. Plows are doing well keeping up with the major roadways but everything else is out for the count. Passed a few fender benders on my walk. Probably 4-5" on the ground with plenty to come. Hallelujah is all I can say.

Some hardcore bike commuters on the lake trail

Man, that must be brutal! Flake size and rates are pretty good right now here.

Some nasty accidents reported on ABC news up by DLL and towards MSP.

Just took the dog out again and it's like a different storm out there. The wind has picked up resulting in a good amount of blowing. Flake size has increased. It's a real snow blitz out there! This event keeps getting more and more impressive as it goes along. A well-defined trowal snowstom beats the pants off WAA snow any day of the week in my book. Plus, radar still looks solid! I'd guess somewhere around 5" out there now.
