Nelson Posted March 6, 2013 Share Posted March 6, 2013 As I understand it, the transition from yellows/oranges to blueish purple is your rain/sleet to snow line (blues/purples are snow - yellows/oranges are rain/sleet) For those of you who know the dual-pol radar well, here's a question. I gotta say, if this was the last major event of the winter it couldn't have ended any better IMO. For as many busts and close calls we've had, this makes up for a lot of it. Should tack on a little more though. 4.5" was my final call for MBY, so it'd nice to get to that. All in all, pretty pleased. Hopefully MIE and that area can sneak into the Dayton death band.
