WVclimo
Made it to 10" before we hit a massive lull. Even had sunlight for a time. Probably spells the end of our accumulation window here, and I'm not sure that we even get another substantial band. Really got great rates from 7:30 to about 9. Picked-up 2 inches in that time period. Great storm for March. Wow. Congrats. 4" here, and with the lull in precip its jumped to 34 degrees. Winds have turned to the NW, so not expecting much more from the bands to the east.

EastCoast NPZ
It's coming back Even if it does, as we head towards max sun angle it's going to be tough to overcome that sudden warming and melting that occurred when the sun came out.

Don Cherry's Jacket
Strange here in McLean. Been snowing at good clips for about 90 minutes. The layer of slush on the deck has barely increased and the roads only recently got slushy. This is pretty and a lot of liquid, but watching kids try to sled down slush is pathetic. WxUSAF
Switching back and forth from SNRA to RASN of varying proportions. Went out with the kids for a little bit, getting away from trees and houses, I believe the spotter reports of 1.5-2"from earlier. But the snow/slush is so wet, you can't even sled in it. It is good snow if you want to throw a snowball at someone that could put them in a coma.

SeminoleSullivan
DP up to 40 per my WX Station just a touch outside White Marsh, MD Interestingly, I've recorded .34" of Liquid, but picked up just under an inch by ~3am. Though a slip-n-slide would be more appropriate than a sled right now. I suspect as that strange piece of energy fades in the atlantic, our low will jog NE slinging both a change of the wind and some heavier precip with it. wawarriors4
Just measured here in Spotsy County, VA......7.1" on the snow board and absolute ripping SN+, pretty sure we just had thunder as well..........trees beginning to snap everywhere!
vastateofmind
On the doorstep... hoping this is going to be a switch to better than a rasn mix sbox_wx, which app is that? That's the best radar I've seen on Android. 34 degrees, heavy snow right now, winds picking up -- went to back to sleep for a couple hours and the ~1.5" we had at 4:30 a.m.-ish compacted to under an inch here, but with current snowfall rate it's re-stacking quickly and sticking to pavement again. heavensbee
Really? I'm in CP and haven't seen heavy snow all morning. Some maybe moderate... You're right, it was more moderate than anything else. And it lasted all but 5-10 minutes before mixing again.
SpringfieldSkins
West Springfield, heavy snow. Parking lots are slushy, snow starting to stick well there. Main roads are lightly slushed, worse where traffic doesn't pass as much. Edit: about 3" in the grass.
