TalcottWx
Do you have a good resource where i can find a graphic of pressure tendencies across our part of the country? I'd be interested in seeing what stage we're at with the transfer. Not on my phone no I'm sorry. I would use spc mesoanalysis though personally

Pityflakes
Wasn't expecting to wake up to a coating this am after seeing radar/temp trends last night and given general excitement and enthusiasm about the WAA part of the storm.

Herb@MAWS
Between onset of daylight and compacting it looks like estimated 1.5" on deck and maybe an optimistic 1" OTG, altho actual total snowfall so far could be slightly more. Have not seen any evidence of rain mixing in since awakening a little before 5am. Decent periods of snow moving through. A.M. low 32.4 High right now (7:55am) at 32.9. My sidestreet has lost it's slush, so just wet.
H2O
Same. At least the lull seems to be over now. 34.1° It is very "bursty". Right now. Light snow then a brief increase then lull and repeat

real
Drizzle changed back over snow in mid-town DC. Seems like its trying hard to stay snow, but no evidence yet its going to start accumulating anytime soon,
Demeter
Spotsylvania County, VA..........31 with 5.8" on the grass and snow board. Roughly about .64 melted. Confirmed, same near Fredericksburg, so far we have been in a sweet spot and have fought off the rain line. We're over performing way more than I expected. birdsofprey02
75-90% rain in Bel Air. Had dusting overnight, grassy areas still have snow. Heavier bands look like they are on the doorstep, but I'm still losing confidence in the rain/snow line.
DCA Weather
I went out and took several measurements. I am calling it 6 inches so far. A few miles makes the difference. You have 6" in Leesburg, but I have 2.5" here in Ashburn.

BaltimoreWxGuy
Still think this is gonna be a bust for the urban areas...Just not enough cold air to work with, rates are not bad but stil not good enough to overcome the BL.
