Eskimo Joe
Confirmed, same near Fredericksburg, so far we have been in a sweet spot and have fought off the rain line. We're over performing way more than I expected. Hey you! Long time, no see Picking up in Carroll. Spotter reports showing 2 - 5" countywide. Quasievil
Still think this is gonna be a bust for the urban areas...Just not enough cold air to work with, rates are not bad but stil not good enough to overcome the BL. Just west of I95, better chanced but me in Essex MD, Im expecting 1-3" IMO I have to agree with this. I'm near BWI now, little coating on the grass but raining. Don't see how this is going to crank up to deliver much of anything. East wind? March? No High Pressure? Gosh we are suckers...
real
Lull. Very light flurries. In DC, its getting annoying. Very sudden, quick, bursts of heavy flurries and then nothing or drizzle. But in last 5 minutes, sky is turning kind of dark, so hoping something a bit more sustained is about to begin.
North Balti Zen
Just got downtown to my office in Baltimore. Driving rainstorm. Seriously. This is awful. Riding the rain/snow line is the worst. In my neighborhood 5 miles NE of downtown (just inside city lines maybe 5 miles east from Towson) it was -SN, but turned into rain about one mile down Harford Road. Huge bust here. I will have to see it to believe it on the coastal saving things for my part of the world. Just awful.
Bodhi Cove
Glad it's changing over out your way Thx. But it did not last long. All rain on 695 from Middle River to Curtis Bay. Although a few flakes mixed in once I got across the FSKB.
sonickteam
In Baltimore, the rain is sticking to roads, cars and grassy surfaces, and accumulating in all low lying areas! its quite a scene! beautiful!

notvirga!
Me too. I am about 15 miles west. I have about 9 inches so far. Are you using a board? Measured on the deck. 8 inches at 4 am, neighbor just posted a picture of a ruler on their deck about a half hour ago. I am currently at work in winchester, confirmed as well with my parents, that 3 to 4 inches fell since I left this morning.

PhineasC
I think this one is a bust Baltimore and NE. Unless you are OK with a dusting and then rain.

BaltimoreWxGuy
Not sure what NWS is waiting for, If I were them I would of already downgraded to advisories at least S and E of I95..

Same here, nothing but light rain with a few flakes mixed in. timstobrazil
Heavy show has stated here in Bladensburg MD. I'm at work. When I left Rosslyn this morning at 6:45 it was 50/50 RASN. This is when things get interesting around here.

haudidoody
I'm jealous of you all in the DC Metro area. Can't believe how fringed we are here No need to be jealous of all of us. We've got absolutely nothing here in the tropical climate that is Old Town. It's snowing. But it's melting just as fast. And the dusting is mostly gone. We're gonna need some epic rates. dallen7908
If you're concerned about an all-day drizzle, the rain has intensified here in Bowie, probably moderate now. Occasional flakes mixing in 34.8 degrees. Probably 0.2" of snow/sleet on grass from overnight (already a top 10 event for this winter).
ravensrule
I think this one is a bust Baltimore and NE. Unless you are OK with a dusting and then rain. So basically you think that there will be no more snow for the rest of the storm?, . And I am in Baltimore and I got 1.5" so far, I would hardly call that a dusting.
