Heisy
Lance is dancing haha, don't bring back ol memories. I'm nervous here in Front Royal that I'll miss the epic band by 15 miles being too far west. I think it's going to set up a tad more east than thought, but we'll see.

MidlothianWX
1" on the ground now in Midlothian. Almost whiteout conditions now (30 minutes after picture).
Ike
Just measured 1.75" in a few places on the lawn with nothing substantial on any pavement yet. Beautiful outside, with light snow pulsing to moderate every now and then.
Mrs.J
Out my back yard a few minutes ago. The snowflake size has gotten smaller now. The neighborhood roads look very passable. Am I correct to guess that conditions will go down in the next few hours. If so I need to convince my husband to just stay home from work.
DSF
Woke up to white yards and black streets at about 4 AM here in NE Baltimore, it's since switched over to mostly rain with a few flakes coming down. School's already closed, so I can't complain.
lsukev
Judging by the RAP, the inland lowpressure is still transferring energy up until about 8AM, from that point, it's bombs away, and the coastal low, as quickly as 11AM is fully cranked up. i would venture to guess that is when things will start becoming very exciting on this forum... The RAP also shows the SLP moving what looks like a total of 100 miles in 7 hours.

Heisy
If you looked at 6z NAM it focused the heavier axis a bit farther East than 00z, DC is going to get dumped on just be patient. Just west of the cities though is where I'd want to be though right now.

NattyBo
Picking up snow intensity in Rockville, wind too. No mixing now. Not sticking to streets.
BlizzardNole
Looks like finally some good precip heading into MontCo from the east; we need southern MD to fill in. I still have 1" on grass, but the coating on streets has melted during this long lull. 33 degrees. If this does not work out the general public is going to pile onto us federal employees. Most of us are teleworking -- I am today -- but the media won't say that. They'll say the feds got a free day off and show wet streets in downtown.
