Mrs.J
32/31 out here. Big flakes flying every which way. Street actually looks passable for now. Was surprised when I woke at 3:30 and they streets were not covered at all. I am guessing about 3/4's of an inch on the grassy surfaces for now. North Balti Zen
Sounds like those around Richmond are cashing in. Not sure if that means anything with regard to how it is supposed to unfold up in Balt. A few days ago, the modeling that had those in SE Va cashing in left us in Balt out of the good stuff. Don't know if that still is the case or not.
jnis
Very light snow here...it had completely stopped for a while. It looks like over 2" closing in on 3 here. It quite windy as well.

nw baltimore wx
snow really coming down hard now if this is like 2/10, I should stay all snow from here on out RAP qpf still looks great When any return of 20 dbz or higher rolls through here, it reminds me of the second blizzard out there. The wind here is getting pretty gusty, so I'm thinking it gets really good later this morning.

ravensrule
Snowing at a light to moderate clip here now, it is sticking on the sidewalks and driveways but not streets yet.
Roger Ramjet
If you look at the last few frames of the Wakefield radar, you see it starting to blossom. This should begin to rotate up into our area over the next couple of hours.
winterymix
3" Reisterstown. This snow has such high water content that it is compacting and this may limit snow depth measured on the ground. This may be the sort of snow that has a faint blue tint.

Jebman
Now I think I understand what they mean in New England about getting pasted lol. I just went out the back, foolishly faced into a full north gust and promptly received a full pasting of large wet snowflakes in the face lmao

Heisy
qpf progs from the computers have been too high so far hopefully, future ones won't be so wrong Looks like EURO will be king overall, but there may be some mesocale areas that do well. Mitch I really think the period between 11-2pm there will be a convective band from Balt into DE that will pound you for a few hours with t-snow and 2-4"/hr rates
EastCoast NPZ
has gotten very windy here, though the snow rates have let up considerably.. lot's of blowing snow.

Snowpocalypse
This is essentially a rainstorm along I-95 from the Mason Dixon Line down to Aberdeen Maryland (30 miles north of Baltimore). Can't say I am surprised. Hopefully it will turn to snow later. I know, i put my shovel away and got out my rain gear. I am truly happy for those getting snow but im distraught for myself and my area. Cecil County loves snow too.....
