Bryan
Can anyone give me a time table real quick? I know there's a lot of discrepancy on what exactly is going to happen, but what's the rough time table we're looking at of precip. moving in? Ginx snewx
Can not stree enough how much it matters what the Euro does, even a nudge North is huge coastal wise. WIND FIELD. AN ADDITIONAL CONCERN FOR MUCH OF THE MA EAST COAST IS THE EXISTING VULNERABILITY FROM THE FEB 9 EVENT. ALTHOUGH WE ARE RATHER HESITANT AT THIS POINT TO JUMP ON THE GFS AND NAM SOLUTIONS AS THE MODELS OF CHOICE...A SOLUTION CLOSE TO THOSE MODELS WOULD PRODUCE A DEVASTATING COASTAL FLOOD EVENT WITH MAJOR TO EXTREME BEACH EROSION. THAT IS NOT WHAT WE CONSIDER TO BE THE MOST LIKELY SCENARIO AT THIS POINT...BUT WE WILL BE WATCHING

ORH_wxman
How far north does it look so far? Not a ton...but still only out to 48h. It looks like what many of us predicted...that it would inch north but not clobber us.

With The GFS on the verge of still being too far NW and the NAM being lots of Rain We don't Want the EURO to be perfect at all right now. Want it as a light hit S of us at this point. Be the outside outlier. Especially since TV mets are LOVING the Rain word on this storm. Darn NAM huggers that never got the memo from the rest of the world stating to use the NAM as toilet paper. TheSnowman
This is actually happening. This is really happening here. The EURO is making a 400 mile correction Cave to the GFS in what, 3 model runs, and none of us are even surprised cause we saw it coming with the GFS' s consistant bashing since 00z last night. Crazy.
