That was my thought.  You'd think they would hedge their bets. Its the type of situation where hey you might wake up to 2-4 type deal and thats ok,  but even if there is a chance of double or tripling that your out of your mind going from 8-10 to 2-4 so quickly.

They usually collaborate so you could see this coming.  They could be on the right track of it could be an overreaction to the bust down south.

Well it's either a very bold forecast in dumping the Euro, or come this time Thursday there will be people with flaming torches hunting down weatherpeople.

RPM is trash. It's a model for pure weenie enjoyment. If it has 5.6" for Boston I don't think that bodes well, especially since it has a tendency to be bullish.

well if you look closer it has about 25 in belmont...6 miles west.  so it's crap but it is bullish just a super gradient due to BL temps.

do you even see much QPF for tonight?  That thing is spinning pretty far south....

Maybe 0.1" or 0.2" of QPF? Not much.

Thinking most places get a coating - 1" tonight and tomorrow... maybe a spot 2.

Widespread 2-4" at least tomorrow night and Friday morning.
