TalcottWx
welcome to our hell. You are becoming one of us, finally. It can't make up its mind. I truthfully thought it would be 10-15 miles more southeast

North Balti Zen
I asked this in other thread and will put it here as well: Anyone from Westminster area lurking? My brother is contemplating driving that way with my nieces and my son to seek snow - preferably sleddable snow. Enough out there to make it worth the drive? Thanks. MDScot
This is partly my fault - I should have known better than to go and buy my (moving out of town) neighbor's snow thrower last night !
WeatherSeeksBalance
Work now officially closed for the day (they previously had it delayed opening until noon with re-eval at 10am of weather). Now let's hope some of those strong bands of snow can make their way to Frederick, MD. Near Ballenger Creek, it's been snowing constantly, but from my window I have seen no stickage to our walkway as of yet.

haudidoody
This is just pathetic, absolutely pathetic. Gettin' a little bright out there now. Not sure if it's even worth jumping in my car and driving west. It'll be finished by the time I get anywhere with decent coverage. Meh.
PrinceFrederickWx
In 2001, the Ravens won the Super Bowl, we had a crappy winter, and we were supposed to get a big snowstorm on March 6 that ended up being all rain.In 2013, the Ravens won the Super Bowl, we had a crappy winter, and we were supposed to get a big snowstorm on March 6 that ended up being all rain. Quasievil
I think this may be the worst possible weather. Honestly, it feels like a fitting end to what has been the worst string of winter weather I've ever seen for this area. We've been outsnowed by everyone - including the eastern shore and Richmond. Try to make sense of that.

wxdude64
I'm a smuck who doesn't know anything, but I mean, it's going on 2 hours of steady snow here and it's not accumulating at all, really. If it does this all day, I won't make 2 inches. About to call time of death on it myself and just enjoy looking out the window at snow and a free day off. One of the more aggravating rain snow mix lines ive experienced "White Rain Express".....yuck On side note wind really has increased here just had a 31 mph gust and although it was snowing lightly, looked like a blizzard for a few minutes as the snow in the trees broke free and blew around. Snow totals all over the place within 20 miles of me, anywhere from 3 to 12 inches!?!?!
gymengineer
I'm going to step away and check back at around 3:00 to see if something unexpectedly good is happening. BlizzardNole
I just cannot understand why such light snow despite great looking radar. What's the deal - poor dendritic growth? I've seen it snow heavy at 33-35 degrees before but the dark greens and even yellows are meaningless today.
