It really needed to be sticking to grass better by now to get into the higher forecast range around DC metro. It was never going to be a big road accumulator based on temperatures, but I thought grass had a chance. The precip is there and building, but temperatures just aren't cooperating. It's going to snow for about 8 more hours--- hopefully we can get at least 3" into DC and 5" here.

Hello from RVA! 2 inches in the Fan, 1 mile west of VCU.

And this is for the DC/Balt crowd thinking that the MA forums are exclusively for them. This was taken 30 minutes ago when we were just starting to accumulate.

Thanks, DT.

But if you really want to go there, you're not really hurting the feelings of those of us that have more snow than you.

I was lambasted this morning for calling bust, but it looks like I was right. I have been watching storms bust here for more than a day.

And this is what was progged on even the high qpf maps for days, frankly. Mitch was right to worry over what it was showing.

Pouring rain downtown Balt.

This is playing out like the models were a few days back that showed Richmond cashing in. The models that were showing that did so at the expense of Cent MD, especially over toward Balt and north.

Its great for Richmond peeps (except for RTutton, I now will actively wish him ill for snow going forward), but has probably come at our expense up here.
