Is anyone else watching TWC right now?

Lmao.  Jim Cantore has me crying with laughter.

YES.  This is the fourth time I've seen the tornado/car safety tips on TWC.  Watching Cantore run into a ditch, throw himself to the ground, and yell, "I'm in the lowest point of this ditch!  Here comes the tornado!" with an agonized look on his face has made this night even better.

TWC drinking game, anyone?

It has been a few days since I posted in a different subforum. And even then, I just started posting on Americanwx last month.

I presented why I thought DC would underperform. I think the snow that falls will be very heavy and very wet. Water-laden aggregates do not accumulate easy...at least, not as easy as a drier snow. That's a perfectly good explanation for a lower snow total.

...and since when was posting the latest forecast from an official source a bad thing?

I'm all for caution (and most people in this forum are about the most cautious, we always wait for the other shoe to drop!).  But really, come on.  Well respected mets and others in here are pretty well in agreement on a major event.  I think we all know we're not going to be getting powder out of this.

I got 8" of water-laden aggregates in about 5 hours during Commutageddon in 2011 with temperatures just above freezing throughout.
