WinterWxLuvr
This will bust low. I'll bet anybody forecast with 2" qpf won't see anything over 1.95".
Fozz
Very good met......and a bit higher than Ava Marie's 5-10". I like it Whoa......he's really going all in especially west of DC
mattie g
I don't think it's too bad. He's got DC right at the 2-5/5-10 line, Not sure 5" is out of the realm. I've been telling friends and co-workers we're probably looking at 5-10" from about 95 out to Gainesville or, then amounts will go up from there. So obviously this Horst guy is a genius. mattie g
Got the call about 30 minutes ago that I should work from home tomorrow. Whiskey will be poured into a lowball filled with rocks in about 15 minutes. Wife will be hanging (though not drinking) with me and the baby will be sniffing the fumes... mattie g
Is that the RPM or his actual forecast? If actual OMG. I'm right on the line between his 6-12" and 12-18". I guess I'd be happy with that.

clskinsfan
Ok. Now that I have a drink in my hand, whoa... I think zwyts called it eons ago for March, no? And QVectorman (?)' also pegged this time frame. So kudos to those who put their name on a lr for it to verify. And thank you to the usual folks who always have great input and analysis for bearing with, what seemed, like an unbearable winter. Group of ten of us heading to the local bar now. Hope its dumping snow when we leave.

ravensrule
The time period from 2003 to 2010 with college I didn't see more than a 6" snowstorm with my own 2 eyes. In some of Philly's recent storms NE Philly got screwjobbed compared to surrounding areas. I'm just catching up with it. Plus I absolutely, absolutely, absolutely prefer heavy wet snow compared to fluff. I am really looking forward to this one even more than the NE Blizzard for some reason. What do you think I end up with out here Ji? I'm not Ji but I think you get 20" there.
Kmlwx
I believe that's his actual forecast How I wish! Still not sure I break a foot within a few miles of me. Even Bob I still think probably in the 5-9 range.
ravensrule
I believe that's his actual forecast I think so as well, I was watching the segment on TV live and he did not say anything about the RPM when he showed the totals. He even said verbally the suburbs of Baltimore can get more than a foot.

attml
What are your thoughts for us folks right along the bay like Annapolis /Severna Park /Arnold? As the bay water temps are still cold we have already dropped down to 42 degrees now that the sun has gone down. Hoping it continues to drop off quickly! Would love to hear opinions for areas along the bay. Thanks!
