aldie 22
Looking through a peep hole on my phone...looks a tad south and a bit slower but not as sure as I would be if I wasn't drunk looking through this tiny hole with one eye shut
Ronnie
This website (http://www.earthtrace.com) shows Tweet activity with the keywords snow, snowing, and blizzard. Pretty cool to see how social media lights up as the storm approaches. Its tweets per minute I believe on right.
blueapple
What do you think those huge spikes (about 5 of them)? I'm thinking TWC or CNN tweeted something and a lot of RTs at once? Not sure...

TL97
The NAM is identical to last run... right down to the numbered isobars that cover the precip amounts over the area.
swimmatte
Can someone tell me what happened with the NAM? I'm on my phone and the storm thread is unreadable. Where did all these people come from? I feel if you're going to post pbp, you either need to be a red tag or someone that has suffered with us all year.
CapsCupCrazy2011
I'm glad that they are accounting for their time spent on their thought process (4:00-6:30). I wonder if that included dinner and bathroom breaks. MDstorm The sequestration is tough....they have to count every last hour...

mdhokie
The NAM is identical to last run... right down to the numbered isobars that cover the precip amounts over the area. The precip_ptot map removes the isobars so you can zoom in on the precip totals.

terpsnation
It's amazing how this forum's mood swings from one model run to the next. I thought half of the MA forum would be in a drunken stupor by now after the 18z GFS. Now the NAM comes in with cooler temps, and that party is back on. I pray that the 0z GFS follows the NAM, and that warm stuff was just a blip.
