I am not sure I agree with the folks saying it is OK if we cool off enough to get 2 inches of snow in the storm and that is a win. 2 inches of slush embedded in a 2.25 inch driving 34 degree rainstorm doesn't seem very appealing.

Looking at the hour 51 panel, once the 850's crash, you might cash in pretty big..

eh.. this is why climo matters. no clue how anyone could have ran to 10-15" in dc lol.

Doesn't the NAM handle temp profiles better? Maybe I'm just being a weenie here, but I'm really pulling for you guys. I still say it will trend, and be, colder at game time.

DT banned me for his facebook page because I told him he was utterly wrong when he just said the 18Z GFS went south

Did you see the RTD article where he says west Richmond gets 10 inches? All I can say is wow...that forecast has a 98% probability of failure.

You just gotta shake your head when you see his page ...hes leading those poor weenies to doom just because the ego won't let him admit the north trend.

This system has the hallmarks of a rain and dryslot storm ..I'm beginning to wonder if this may be a huge bust for the mid atlantic.  How far north can this go?  Guess we'll see at 0z whether the gfs holds.
