just woke up. well, I woke up at 6 and didn't like what I saw so I decided to sleep until it got good.

Honestly, I was never fully sold on the front end waa stuff. I bought in yesterday afternoon but I had a feeling it wouldn't go nutz until the lp started cranking. And here we are.

Almost everybody on the board is going to be freaking out by lunchtime or so. Thunder in RIC is very telling. The main show is really only getting started.

Also a lot of lightning strikes south and east of DCA now so that should bode well for heavier precip as well.

We're good. It may not be the widespread 12"+ that people were hoping for. I stuck with 6-8 for a long time irt expectations but bumped it to 8-10 last night. I think my late call is good but not much upside bust potential. Well, i suppose I could bust low if this stayed over my house all day:

F'ing plows. Nowhere to be seen when we had 20+" twice in 2009-2010, but they can find their way to my cul-de-sac for an event like this.
