WxUSAF
Hi-RES nam has DCA at 3" liquid by 21z tomorrow...does anyone take this prodict seriously? Has utility for identifying banding locations, but I would pay no attention to QPF output.
WxUSAF
People...read the maps for QPF. Here's the link: http://mag.ncep.noaa.gov/list_files_area.php?model=nam&cycle=00&area=namer¶m=precip_p36
Scarlet Pimpernel
Same as earlier runs today more or less. Freezing level hangs around 975mb all day for DC, slightly higher for Baltimore. Sub-freezing at 950mb all day for the entire area, 0C line never makes it to I-95. I didn't have a chance to compare to 18Z yet, but the lower levels are cold! Definitely supports snow in DC for the duration of the storm. Thanks! Glad to hear it. More confidence in an all snow or almost all snow event around DC. Like the colder trends today, hope the GFS follows suit on that.

WxUSAF
I'm going to lock this thread. Going to be snowing in many spots west of the Potomac by the time the GFS starts rolling in an hour.
