PhineasC
This run is fine. Would be wire-to-wire snow across the area and still long duration. Yeah, if you thought you were getting 36 hours of heavy snow and 3 inches of QPF, this run sucks ass.
mitchnick
Definitely looks a bit drier overall thus far as compared to 0z (also I can't believe I'm calling at least 1.2 inches-plus QPF and in many places much more area-wide through 0Z tomorrow drier). yeah, but it is most confidently all snow
SLPressure
i wouldnt mind if this thing stopped going north. You got your wish. The surface low just hopped a freighter.

Yeah, if you thought you were getting 36 hours of heavy snow and 3 inches of QPF, this run sucks ass. Thank you for saying this. For godssakes people, if NAM is right, for us up in Balt and north, you take it and run. With no questions or complaints.

Eskimo Joe
The Sim Radar doesn't show a dryslot. Carroll County looks all snow on this. Maybe an hour or so of a mix. Thank the snow gods for the PING project...will be having the display up in our EOC tomorrow.

North Balti Zen
I didn't want to be a weenie and ask if this was good for Baltimore, thanks We are not a bullseye, but we never have been. But it looks like a lot of snow if it verified along the NAM lines, which would be awesome.

WxUSAF
How do the BL thermals look, in particular, 950-975 mb? If anyone has seen. About as cold as 18Z? Same as earlier runs today more or less. Freezing level hangs around 975mb all day for DC, slightly higher for Baltimore. Sub-freezing at 950mb all day for the entire area, 0C line never makes it to I-95. Jim
How do the BL thermals look, in particular, 950-975 mb? If anyone has seen. About as cold as 18Z? I didn't have a chance to compare to 18Z yet, but the lower levels are cold! Definitely supports snow in DC for the duration of the storm.
Symblized
yeah, but it is most confidently all snow This is indeed true. Let's hope the profile holds for the rest of the suite. I'm gaining some confidence that I'll bust high (sno accum-wise, anyway) here in south Baltimore City as compared to basically all of the auto-output.
