Chicago WX
Good run for Chicago and southern WI. Way north with the low, almost over LAF at 60 hours. Another cold rainer here. Good stuff.

IWXwx
The forecast soundings are torture...it's hours of 33 and rain. Sounds familiar. Oh wait, that just happened last week. Sorry if I sound bitter, but I am. EDIT: I've had enough. I'm not staying up for any more runs. See you all tomorrow, in the complaint thread. cyclone77
NAM can be pretty screwy sometimes, so might want to take it with a grain of salt. It did horrible for Iowa 24hrs from the last event. GFS has been pretty consistent IMO with this thing, so unless it changes much I wouldn't be too excited either way. I don't think models will figure this thing out completely until tomorrow's 12z and more likely the 00z batches.
Thundersnow12
Still a good run here. Let's see if the GFS follows.

RCNYILWX
RC was right. Wagons north. Congrats once again to Mt. Geos. We'll see if there's a happy medium once the globals come out. For it to trend north makes sense but the NAM does have a tendency to be too amped at this range.
Chicago WX
Except it's got consistency, and the GFS moved north. Consistency my a**. The 12z run had 2-4" of snow here. This run is all rain.
cyclone77
Cue someone saying, "It's just the NAM". Most of the time that's a pretty legitimate statement. Unless we're within 24hrs of an event. It sucks most of the time.

cyclone77
Consistency my a**. The 12z run had 2-4" of snow here. This run is all rain. Yeah. Gotta admit I haven't been watching the models as closely as usual, but I've noticed the GFS being more consistent relatively speaking to the yo-yo NAM. Hoosier
For MBY, I'm more concerned about the NAM trend than the exact solution. Still time to change but I'm a lot more nervous than if we were talking about the NAM at 84 hours.
