Chicago Storm
0z GFS fairly similar to the 18z run. The only difference is there is additional precip to the south.
Chicago WX
GFS northwest, versus its 12z run...initially. Song remains the same though.

Hoosier
0z RGEM is all snow for here. It's touch and go initially, but we make it verbatim. Well, pretty close anyway...there may be some mixing early. Long shot. Cutting it close to say the least. Mix line might make it into the county for a while. A sign that the American/foreign model war is not over yet? mimillman
Not concerned at all for ORD. GFS looks like it'll pretty good for Chicago. Yea, GFS is excellent. Hope it verifies...
wisconsinwx
We're pm a lock for 6" 24 HRs to go Nam/GFS both on our side.. Euro says wait for me (and I'm not sure it doesn't give us a big jab in the side). Local Skyvision Plus model looks good, SREF/NAM/GFS look good (albeit very little margin for error on the north side), but you're probably right. Hoosier
We might have to stir up some anti-American propaganda.... Seriously one of the more intriguing model wars in a while. Maybe the 12z Monday cycle will do the trick as everything relevant to this system should be fully in the RAOB network.

If it is gonna miss here it may as well be you guys who has endured a longer suffering streak ( 2008 being the last decent event there ) then most others in this region. I really am pulling for you all.

Hoosier
Better maps aren't out yet but as far as I can tell, the Ukie would be almost a complete whiff to the south for Chicagoland.

DAFF
The northern gradient looks almost LES streamer sharp with the cut off amponts of precip. Just 50 miles from 4" to zilch, where Windsor almost sits on the zero line on most of the latest clown maps.

wisconsinwx
Local mets pretty bullish on this event, basically ignoring the Euro it would seem. Most have 4-8" (CBS 58's microcast has MKE down for 6.6), with WISN 12 going highest with a general 5-9".
