Hoosier
IND get more than LAF? What a cluster... They'd probably be pretty close to us if this run played out. They are a bit more marginal at the start. We gotta hope this isn't one of the times that this model lays an egg. UK is still on the southern end so there is still a little support for this type of outcome.

mimillman
GFS, Euro, and to some extent the NAM, all agree on a solid 5"+ event for the LOT cwa. I'd be surprised if they didn't hoist watches within the next few hours.

Louieloy102
I only lurk these forums and post on accuweather but I have to say something about the LOT map. The timestamp ends on 6PM Tuesday, and it will still be snowing after that. Tonights map should look different.

The graphical map looked a little warmer at both the 850 and the surface than the text output for IND to me. If it verifies, it going to be close to being a mess down there. Chicago WX
IND AFD lightly beating the drum for a freezing rain event, turning over to snow, for the CWA. Well, except for possibly the LAF. Eh.

Indystorm
It would be nice if the lows coming from the nw and sw would merge in a favorable location over the Ohio Valley to give much of this subforum one last hurrah for winter.
BowMeHunter
The Euro shifted north but not nearly as far as the GEM and is not as far north as the GFS or NAM. Will be a tough call on the north side of things. The LSX WRF/SREFs are also north, and only the UKMET is a southern outlier. Things are looking up for a snow event, but how significant is yet to be determined. First time I've looked at models since thurs because was out of town with a group from dads work ice fishing.. expected to come home and see nothing here as it was on thursday night. Cool to see we might get a DAB+++ Tossing the NAM here especially since its not jiving with euro. Maybe if we're lucky they will meet in the middle and we can get 2-4" Can't feel bad about that especially when nothing looked good on thursday.. Looking great for a share the wealth ending to winter and even looks good for LAF on euro What a great weekend was had and my face and hands got fried even more then my liver. Every outdoor activity was jamming in the winter wonderland.. Never seen so many snowmobiles out but with it being the last weekend of snowmobiling in great conditions it was no surprise. Alek finally with nothing to worry about. holy shat.. dll in 8-12" bet he's thrilled. Madison should be able to weasel in another nice event.
