NaoPos
In regards to fridays threat, NAM isn't too enthused. Bad timing with the front, and any isolated chances out ahead of the fropa seem to be contained mainly to lanco/york co areas points N&W. not much shear, instability during peak heating hours due to a weaker low level flow not being able to draw up the DP's.....timing is killing us here. AvantHiatus
Thunderstorms rolled through here, first major boomers of the season. Airmass has done a complete reversal from the weekend and it is now warm and humid rather than foggy and damp.

noctilucent
With the .40" so far from this morning's "blob", we are up to about 1.07" from this system (I hesitate, like Ray, to call it an "event"). Very weird scenario about 6:45 pm here last night. Sun brightly shining, along with heavy bursts of rain with even a bit o' hail. Rainbows showing up to my north. And I didn't have the phone with me to take a picture! I left it at the house to charge up. Very surreal scene. Lasted about 10 minutes.

Mforty
That bear de could be putting down some small hail. Any reports? A little late to the party here... I was on my way between Pike Creek and Newark during this storm. I would say the hail was raisin to peanut m&m sized.

NortheastPAWx
Folks, I'll be at the Scranton/WB RailRiders game later (first pitch 7:05) with fireworks planned...looking at the radar there's rain coming from the south and west - what do you think are the odds the rain either holds off or comes in before the game ends?
