famartin
Low clouds almost ruined my outdoor plans today but managed to hold off/break up fast enough. Wondering what tomorrow will bring in that regard... noticed the MAV now shows us socked in all day. Blech.

NaoPos
One of my top analog years (1990) had tornadoes on 5/10. SPC did mention hodo's decent enough for supercells. Nothing spectacular, but a chance nonetheless. Timing will be an issue for us EPA wx folks, as is the norm the last year

HM
SPC did mention hodo's decent enough for supercells. Nothing spectacular, but a chance nonetheless. Timing will be an issue for us EPA wx folks, as is the norm the last year Here is my post from the Mid Atlantic forum about it: An eyebrow was raised yesterday with the more southern SLP track, better wind fields and sufficient moisture return. But the 00z runs and 6z GFS have shifted north and lost their more interesting look. We'll see if we can get more amplification out of the lead s/w on today's 12z runs but I didn't like the way this morning's data went.

NaoPos
A little soupy after these downpours in Drexel Hill Nice clearing ongoing here now though.. Decent thermo's out and about, with some mod shear: Not expecting anything widespread, but an isolated chance at a decent cell popping in the area that could produce gusty winds and small hail.
