Wondering what are the records for this event so late? Thanx

famartin
I'm guessing you have... TTN was 87 on 4/10 and 83 on 4/9. Parents hit 89 in fact (though that was probably a tad inflated, gotta do something about that when I return)

iceman56
4 days in a row with low 50's for highs in late April with sunshine 3 of those days is indeed impressive, not to mention consecutive below freezing nights. Wind chill last evening while planting potatoes wasn't the most pleasant thing. Let 'er roll into May...

BucksCO_PA
gotta love those afternoon temps at Denver on APR 23rd, Rockies have had four games postponed because of snow and their breaking record low temps that have stood for 139yrs some historic cold in the upper midwest / lakes since March, Duluth just broke the all time record for snowiest month, over 50", in freakin APR - crazy stuff.... But not to worry, there will be plenty of opportunities to cut grass in 85+ degree weather with humidity this summer.

Isotherm
thats an october cut not end of april Actually April's mean temp is colder than October. Average highs in October don't slip below 65F until the 20th IMBY, while in April, average highs don't hit 65F until around the 22nd. So climo wise, we're more likely to have frost/freezes deep into April than early oct.

Or at least, more often than not.
