I just think there will be allot of coastal damage even with a miss this things a beast

Rtd208
Not that I completely agree with this since it still seems like they are basing this on "typical" el nino conditions without taking other factors into account. http://www.mycentraljersey.com/story/weather/stormwatch/2015/10/07/new-jersey-winter-weather-forecast/73509590/

LongBeachSurfFreak
Thank you. Let's see if it works out. Excellent work!! I have been putting allot of thought in to it and I agree with most of what you have. I do think at some point we do see typical Nino zonal flow which in concert with the warm pool off the west coast creates a period of perhaps weeks of record warmth nation wide. I'm thinking December as well
MJO812
JB thinks the EL Nino is peaking right now and should drop off sooner than later. He likes the mid to late November timeframe for the pattern to change. Joe Cioffi thinks it has peaked. Great signs for winter .

snowman19
he did say that on his Facebook update last night. If he did say region 3.4 already peaked, he's going to be wrong. There is a downwelling kelvin wave in progress as we speak, it has no choice but to warm more over the next month...
