Nice base for a long season pretty much everywhere it mattersBerkshires have had a solid year especially if Pete's had 87" so far. Here in the Village we are like low 80s, and his snowpack is similar to 1500ft up here. They've been in the storm track for storms that hit both SNE (the blizzard) and NNE (like this storm) all season. MaineJayhawk
How much in Bridgton/ Fryburg Maine? Thanks I haven't seen reports from those two cities in particular, but Otisfield (just east of Bridgton) reported 6.0" as of 8:47 last night and Paris has 8.0" as of this morning ... so in that ballpark anyway. MainePhotog
3.50" Storm total snowfall. Winds were brutal during the heavy snow. The saving grace, and thus no power loss, was as the sun set the snow became somewhat drier in nature. Before that, it was mashed potatoes. When the wind blew, snow that was on tree branches splattered against our picture window as if someone were throwing slush at it.
HIPPYVALLEY
lol Mets just cannot win with the public. I just listened to the local DJ's busting on weathermen for 5 minutes b/c the forecast is for cloudy with ra/sn but the sun is out in Northhampton. edit: For that matter it's breaking out here.
