wxeyeNH
31.9F light to moderate snow but only 2.5" so far. With high sun angle and compaction this stuff is having a hard time building up.
MaineJayhawk
Cooked here for sure. Looks like PWM won't be moving up in the Feb. standings after all. Hoping to find the r/s line on my way home in four hours.

Lava Rock
You have some elevation on the WFO, but it is on a little weenie hill around 400'. I imagine if you're snowing in Raymond, they're also getting it at the office. WFO?

PWMan
Hoping to find the r/s line on my way home in four hours. I didn't see a single flake today. There was a light dusting from overnight when I got up this morning, but by then it was raining lightly. Tough forecast, and it looks like GYX got the headlines right. Now hoping to get in on a little bit of weenie snow tomorrow night.

PWMan
Man if we only had an arctic airmass in place, Feb 2010 all over Kind of an anticlimactic ending for this storm considering what it did to the middle of the country. But we've obviously had our moments this winter.

eduggs
Looks like pretty heavy upslope enhanced precip in western ALB county. Anybody know if there is any snow mixed in there or all rain now? I see most mesonet obs are mid 30s or higher even in elevated terrain around the NE, but I suppose dynamics could locally cool the column. Any reports? Logan Rick? eduggs
It looks like mod-heavy snow has worked its way back into elevated sections of NPA and the southern tier of NY. That could be a good sign for the higher elevations of NE later tonight. BGM reporting snow and 1/2mi vis at 32F. Snowing at Ithaca and Elmira as well. If you can keep a lid on that surface temp I think you could accumulate again later tonight. Unfortunately the surface center in western NY keeps nudging temps higher.
