snowlord81
Quite a bit of ice accumulation even this far south in Indiana. I woke up to the trees glazed over with that drooping look. Temp is 33.8 now though so we will be fine. But ya, a few degrees the other way and this could have been pretty bad. Picked up .87 inches of precip so far. Hoosier
12z runs have ORD changing to snow within the next hour. Obviously could be delayed somewhat the farther east you go into the city.
Gilbertfly
Huge snowflakes here now. Still some sleet, but mainly snow. snow mixing in now....1/4 of our system total QPF wasted on garbage i guess???
RCNYILWX
Nice. Send it slightly west. Still pingathon here. Accumulating on the roads. So much surface temps being too warm Yup, accumulating pretty well here too, Warrenville Road, a pretty heavily traveled road, is sleet/snow covered. It's going to be a horserace to change over before those heavy returns push in. Moderate rain continues. Still no flakes.

Chicago WX
She is correct. Snow mixing in now with huge flakes with the heavier returns and temp still at 32. Parking lots icy and slushy. Nice. She is a bit of a weather weenie. Just sent me some pics. Looks like some parachutes mixed in there. Says it's snowing even harder after she took them. RCNYILWX
snow mixing in now....1/4 of our system total QPF wasted on garbage i guess??? Well, looking upstream on radar, we have a ways to go, so could still see some decent accumulations, albeit of 6-7:1 slop once full changeover occurs. snowstormcanuck
Ouch temps just shot up to 36F here in the last hour. Need some cloud cover to move in ASAP. Honestly, you'll bulb down several degrees once the precip. starts. What are your dewpoints like? If Guelph has p-type problems we're all screwed.
