Nice sluge of quality returns from gary back towards Kokomo spinning back into the city...we'll have to go over to snow before that gets here or it's game over.

Heading back to the south east side. At Roosevelt and Halsted now. Flakes mixing in.

I am about a mile and a half west of Rt 59 and 95th st. I'm in Will County just south of where Will, DuPage, Kane and Kendall counties meet.

As a type this, a sudden change over to major pingers. Absolutely pouring

Thanks, heavy 50/50 sleet/snow mix up here now, starting to accumulate, Washington St and Warrenville Rd. Some bigger flakes starting to mix in.

Only good thing about the TWC, or the TWC website is the radar...and it clearly shows a buncha heavy rain..... Not looking good atm!

 She is correct.  Snow mixing in now with huge flakes with the heavier returns and temp still at 32.  Parking lots icy and slushy.

All snow now and ground white, at least for awhile.

Rogue heavy snow band continues to be parked from Ames to Waterloo, still not a flake from east of Des Moines to CR to nw Illinois.

Precip started as big clumps of mangled snowflakes on a howling east wind here in Oak Brook, quickly transitioning over to sleet.
