Hoosier
Man, that is a heart attack cement storm for ORD on the Euro. Appreciate RC's and Gino's posts on the decision making process. This one has had temperature questions for days and seems like it will until the snow is falling.
Chicago Storm
The ECMWF continues to be the highest with QPF. Safe bet is to ride the drier crowd for now.
BowMeHunter
Watch is definitely justified now for Racine, Kenosha and Walworth Co. I got about an inch on the EURO. So no real change, other than it's a tad colder. Maybe, but it gets my attention when the Euro is beefy with QPF. You expect that out of the NAM and some other hi-res models but not necessarily the Euro. Saw some tree limbs up to 3" dia come down. This time I expect it to be worse with power outages due to the wind. This is the kind of storm where I want to keep up with the shoveling and not leave it till the very end!

I was outside with one layer and a rain coat! Would have soaked my regular winter jacket. haha Wind will act like a AC in this storm. Might I add with that storm, some traffic lights were so caked with snow you couldn't tell what color they were. ...and stop signs.

Yeah and I'm sure WGN is doing the dirty work/hype for LOT. I wonder how many non weather geeks or snow lovers actually read or even know about afd and such? Yeah the NAM has had several wet runs and just recently backed off some but Euro has had what? 3 high runs in a row. I'd lean middle of the pack.
