CTV Kitchener's Lyndsay Morrison tweeted a couple hours ago that Windsor could get about 5cm.

@supersonic458 Windsor will likely get more rain than say KW, but still at least 5 cm not out of the question. Will keep monitoring!

CBC Weather Centre just tweeted this map with Windsor at 21cm. Also KW at 12cm and Toronto at 16cm: https://twitter.com/CBCWeather/status/306204640989552640/photo/1

Oh... We will find a way to get screwed. Maybe space debris heating the atmosphere as it falls to earth causing temps to be too warm?

It's hard to say screwed when the best dude we have laid out a great disco on why not to get excited.  We're kind of conditioned to treat the Euro as king but this winter has been a lot like the winter of 1793 in France

Fair enough. You cant say we were not warned, but man I felt good about this yesterday morning, and it is tough to let that go.

All of our events this year have had at least one major flaw.  This is still probably our best shot at something approaching low level warning criteria but if it busts, it certainly won't be a shocker.

I was in Russia that year....good times...

residual chemicals on pavement and 2 straight days of full baking are going to do a number on any snowfall rates under 1.5 - 2 inch per hour on the streets....grass? will have to see what the temps do during drawn down cooling

Grass accumulations should be fine. Later in the day the snow starts the better too.

Hope that the skies remain clear as long as possible. Nice bright moon out there tonight!

Looks like it's more or less a lock for at least some period of heavy plastering snowfall, which is all I really care about. Then again I'll be inside a machine center for most of the evening, so I probably wont see much :(

I'll be working :)

Btw my guess for metro Detroit 5-8"
