Looks like ORD picked up 0.3" of snow overnight...which brings the March total to 10.2". Makes the 27th time, in recorded history, March has had 10" or more officially in Chicago.

Would've had a streak of 9 consecutive 80 degree days if it weren't for that 79. Incredible, just incredible.

6z GFS is nasty cold late in the month...   Shows 0F here on the 25th!  Plus its showing snow, snow and more snow the next week... my God...  we are paying for last March...

The rubber band has snapped back!

Gained 0.7" of snow this morning, which wasn't even forecast, lol.

Feels like a February day.

Alek needs to jump on the Chad bandwagon. He's going with above normal temps the rest of March. Also calling for 60's late this week through the weekend. And to boot, he's also going to start planting his garden this week apparently.

Spring has sprung! :sun:

Hey folks, since a few of you have asked, just want to say that I'm still alive. :D

Welcome back. I was seriously worried about you. You fell off the face of the earth.

Congrats MN, WI, MI, and OH (maybe N IL and N IN too) on the 12z GFS for Friday/Saturday. Fairly good shift south versus its 0z run.

Models having a blast with these impulses.

The storm early next week has my interest, although the preceding little waves could produce a little something.

Approaching mid March and I should be thinking spring, but hey, if it wants to snow, then go with the (northwest) flow.

Beautiful day in the N woods.  A cold day for March at 24 with off and on snow.... becoming heavier later this afternoon into tonight.

A couple pics just outside of town limit.

Beautiful scenes! Looks like mid-winter.

At 31° right now with a new status deck approaching from the west.

Lol @ above normal temps for the rest of the month.  :lmao:

Does this guy thinks he lives in Arkansas? Jeez. Now that is a text book example of complete media non-sense to the public!

19" of snow fell in a couple spots in Michigans upper peninsula the last 2 days. You can see one of the Northern Michigan weathercams on my website shows over 4 feet of snow on the ground. Some get all the luck. lol

Yep...here is a report from this morning.  Just incredible.  :snowing:

Picnics in the park, frollicking through the tulips, planting the garden, mowing the lawn, dipping your toes in the pool...
